JCO 4th Annual Kids Fishing Tournaments

To finish off our First Summer Camp with Flora and Fauna Festivities we will be doing our 4th Annual Kids Fishing Tournament on Saturday, July 27th 24. (Check Events tab for summer camp info or message us. Limited availability. Two age groups. July 24th-26th)

Tournaments Open for ages 17 and under. Several Age Groups for prizes. 9am-1pm

Rules: -ALL GUESTS and Entries must check into office. (white building) -Please Pre-register - Kids must be able to reel in themselves. Parents/Guardians can help as needed but please let the kids do most of the work. -Bank Fishing only. -No cast nets. 2 pole limit per child. Please Bring a bucket to transport fish for weigh-in. We want to keep the quality of life for fish to release. A net may be used only if needed to bring fish out of the water once caught on a pole. -If you are NOT camping then please stay out of reserved campsites and give them their space. (room down dam, on the point, around office area) Only fish from the main lake will count. -Prizes will be awarded for Biggest fish (weight) in each category. (Bass, Catfish, Bowfin, Pike, etc) and then go down in size if not caught with Crappie, and Panfish. Extra prizes may be awarded throughout the event. All fish weighed in will be recorded and pictures taken if permissible. JCO Drone may fly as well. Panfish must be able to be weighed on the scale or its just a tally. -Live baits or artificial can be used. (We will have Nightcrawlers in stock in the office for purchase)

The Dam is the access road to our tent camping sites. We will try to limit driving down the dam as much as possible during the hours of the tournament but please do not block any roads with fishing equipment.
